Yes. We will work directly with your physician and discharge team so you can transition seamlessly from the hospital to the comfort of your home with similar support.
No. You can continue working with Wellspring Personal Care for as long as care is needed, and as care needs change. Our team includes nurses, nurse assistants, social workers, a nursing supervisor, and a physician. We know that most people want to age in place. If need be, we can provide the care a client needs for the rest of their life in the comfort and safety of their own home.
Our caregivers are carefully screened and matched with each client based on their skills and compatibility with the client’s physical and emotional needs. Our pre-employment screening process includes:
- Face-to-face interviews
- Reference checks
- Drug screening
- Illinois Department of Public Health fingerprint-based healthcare worker background check
- Sex offender registry checks
In addition, our management team makes regular in-home visits to observe caregiver/client interaction and to ensure that care plans are being followed.
